Brief: 1200 sq.m private residence with swimming pool on 0.5 hectare green field site
Completion due: June 2006

The outline concept is to create a spiral form around a central south facing courtyard, with main living accommodation taking up taller, higher elements of the volume and the swimming pool / sports facility in flat, lower elements with terraces above. Access to the house is via the centre of a flat street façade, concealing the nature of the volume behind. The external facades of the house are clad in white-stained timber planks with red wood horizontal elements providing linear accent. Internal, courtyard elevations are completely glazed giving the impression that the central space is another room in the house.
