Avon Mill

This zero-carbon development transforms the historic Limpley Mill on the River Avon into a sustainable residential community. Retaining its original stonework and steel structure, the project includes 12 residential units, offices, and communal spaces.

The site achieves year-round energy self-sufficiency using a new weir hydro turbine, rooftop solar panels, and a mill pond water-source heating system. The design introduces Crittall windows, glazed balconies, a fish pass, and wheelchair-accessible spaces. Following full planning permission in May 2023, construction started on site in March 2025.
